Welcome! My name is Brian Robb and I would like your vote for re-election to Ypsilanti City Council, representing Ward 3. Originally from Pennsylvania, I moved to Michigan 16 years ago, choosing to live in Ypsilanti because of its vibrant community life, diverse population, and impressive architectural heritage. After purchasing a home on the East Side, I became involved in local volunteer efforts and my neighborhood association. Then, four years ago, I decided I wanted to be a part of shaping Ypsilanti’s future in a more formal way, and was elected to City Council.

During my term as council member, I have worked to make our City government efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of citizens. I have helped to make our City sustainable, by supporting urban farming, solar energy, and public transportation movements. I have helped to make our City safe, by working to keep full fire staffing and heighten police presence in the business districts. And I have helped to make our City modern, by embracing new technologies and seeking to form new partnerships and regional authorities.

Ypsilanti does face significant challenges, including the need to prioritize services and do more with less. To accomplish these things and move us forward as a community, we need strong, effective leaders who can get things done. I want to use my experience and creative problem-solving skills to continue to tailor the way the City delivers services to the changing needs of the community.

Please visit this site often to keep informed about campaign topics and to let me know what issues are important to you a citizen of Ypsilanti’s Third Ward.

Thank you, and please Vote Robb on August 3rd.
